The Feet Wanders: CALAGUAS

The day before the Calaguas trip, I have accepted that I will not be able to come with my friends to experience the beauty of Calaguas, Camarines Norte.
So the least I could do to make myself feel better is to come with them while they bought supplies and took dinner before they took the bus going to Calaguas.

They took the 8:00 pm bus trip from Cubao to Daet. As I reached home at 9:00 pm, I received a text message that our shoot for the next day has been packed up. Of all days to receive a short noticed message. WHY? WHY? WHY? :/

The first idea that crossed my mind was follow my friends to Calaguas. And yet I had another problem, I lent my Calaguas money to someone else. Now I have the time but do not have the money. Thanks to great friends like K.O. Olivar who texted her mom to lend me some :)

All set, the next problem was, there were no more night trips as I checked Cubao at about 10pm (which by the way gave me a chance to witness a snatching scene), anyway, so I had to choose, a 4am Ordinary bus ride or an 8am air-conditioned bus ride. I chose the earlier trip. I sat near the window, slept with my mouth open and woke up with a dry throat.

We had a stop over at a karendirya and had our lunch.

I ate fried bangus and rice. They served free soup. Yumm! :) As I was back in the bus, Noreen called, she said there were no more Passenger Boats by 11am at Vinzons. So, there goes another problem, thank God that their boat man was willing to fetch me at Paracale.
Alone. On my way to Mahabang Buhangin. (CALAGUAS)
Thanks to the Barangay Tanod who helped out and lent his phone, so my friends can contact me.

I arrived at the island at about 5pm. After almost 13hours of travel, this is what I get:
Tumbling Shot: Calaguas
white sand, virgin beach, sunlight, clear sea. It was worth the long travel.

to be continued...
